Can love be a one way street?
67Love can certainly be a one way street, but will it work is the question? It takes two people to make a relationship work, you both have to love eachother. Sometimes, you can love someone who doesn't love you back. Why would you want to be in a one way street type a deal.
The "MY way or the highway" type a' love, is not love. Love includes sacrifice and compromise. Otherwise, it's a one way street that should be walked alone.
Sometimes you can put more effort into a relationship then your significant other.
If this "love" is a one way street than the "love" is likely to be abandoned and felt lonely.
A one way relationship should break up and be single.
If you love yourself enough, you would break off this one way street type'a love.
Someone may think a one way street type'a love is okay, some people have their ways set and aren't going to change....
So, if you could put up with that, more power to ya!
Otherwise, I think love should be an even split - 50/50.

I believe love can be a one way street, coz for my part, i don't think love refers to one should have another. Love someone means you wanna her or him happy, sometimes it does not necessarily mean that you two should be together.

Love is a one-way street implies love gives without expecting to receive. But your context, you by one way street means one person doing all the loving, all the sacrifice & all the caring - that's not love, that's more like infatuation. It takes the recipient to fully receive what the giver is giving whole-heartedly for love to be fully expressed

Intimacy is what makes it a two-way street.

Love can be a one way street and if that is really the case get out before it's too late. Also, love can be a 2-way street, one person may put in 70% and the other only 30% and that's okay as long as the one giving the 30% is putting their all in their percentage. Love is not quantity, it's quality.
