You ever love someone so much, you lose yourself?
When your in a relationship for so long and you put up with so much crap, you just get used to it, and that's not okay.
You need to always be yourself and you need to always be strong.
Communicate with your partner, try to make things great. If you can't seem to get anywhere when talking with that person, if they seem so into themselves and always right, leave them. Leave them before they leave you. If things are bad, what makes you think marriage will make things any better? Or what makes you think a baby will bring you two closer. It won't happen. Maybe for a little bit, but not for the long run. People don't change. You can't change anyone.
The best thing you can do is find someone who is RIGHT for you, rather than settling. NEVER SETTLE. It's the worst thing you can do for you.
Why should you settle? To be unhappy?
Don't be convinced when they say they love you and then treat you like garbage. They are only saying what you want to hear.
If you wanted to break up in the beginning, there was a reason.
When your dumped, or doing the dumping- Just leave it. If it's happened once or almost happened once just let it happen.... There was a reason for it.
Follow your gut instincts. If you feel you want out- leave.
You might be heart broken- but you WILL get over it.
Just because ONE person broke your heart, doesn't mean the next guy or gal will do it to you too.
Go out, get out there, meet new people, find activities to do to get your mind off things.
With time, you will heal from a broken heart.

MsG- The worst thing is when a person retreats into a shell after such a relationship. I would say pick up a hobby or some activity for the time being to keep the mind engaged. Seek the company of family & friends. Time sometimes heals all wounds and surely their will be someone who will notice this new "you" and the magic will happen.
guilty. sometimes we could be so stubborn in sticking with someone we "choose" to love. unfortunately this (persistence if you should call it) doesn't work all the time.. you have to go out there again and be happy!
Obviously this is a reaction to a recent break up that has been brewing for a long time. Well....Congrats!!! It is so refreshing to hear about a woman taking control & dumping the excess weight that pulls her down into the gutter of settlement. I can truly respect your self entitlement of respect & love. You deserve more. Do not settle. For once you settle, you explore no more. And when exploration has become fullfilled, only then will you understand your personal map to love.
BTW...I am now offically a fan.
Great hub. I really enjoyed it and identified with the feelings you project. Thanks for that. : )
